JOY OF MOBILITY & JOY OF BALANCE with Living Well IHC

Physiotherapist Robin Stamm will be leading two weekly online exercise classes throughout the months of November and December. These classes will be geared to those who have MOBILITY and/or BALANCE issues and will last between 35-45 minutes. The classes will run for a total of seven weeks, with the possibility of extending to the very end of December.

Dr. Maria Patriquin will begin each class with mindfulness and skills for reducing stress in these uncertain times. Short reflective questionnaires must be completed by all participants prior to completion of the series. Thank you for your understanding.

If you use a wheelchair and are comfortable and safe to do so, we recommend removing your arm rests for the duration of the class. About Robin

Robin was the physiotherapist at Living Well IHC, alongside Dr. Maria Patriquin and team, from 2014 through 2019. Over the past 20 years, she has studied and worked with teachers all over the globe, within the worlds of biomechanics, movement, and body mind consciousness. She recently moved west to the coast of the Salish Sea, but is plotting a sojourn back east to offer a yoga retreat in August 2021. She is a registered physiotherapist in both British Columbia and Nova Scotia.

Robin's work proceeds with the conviction that our bodies are much wiser and more splendiferous than we give them credit for, and that if we remain attentive, curious and kind, they will respond in wonderful ways.

I would like to acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
